Performance „Cracks in Landscapes”

Eine poetische Spekulation mit Bewegungen, Texten und Materialien wie Erde, Metall und Latex von und mit Claudia Bosse sowie Live-Sounds von Günther Auer.

Mit der Installation „Evocation of Absent Landscapes“ setzt Claudia Bosse ihr Projekt „haunted landscape/s“ mit theatercombinat in DAS WEISSE HAUS fort. Der Raum verwandelt sich in eine sensorische Umgebung, mit Videoarbeiten und Materialien wie Salz, Schlamm, Haare und Wolle.
Damit schafft Claudia Bosse einen „dritten Raum“, in dem sich menschliche und nicht-menschliche Perspektiven auf Landschaften überschneiden. Die Besucher:innen sind eingeladen, zersplitterte, lebende und hybride Ökologien zu erleben.
Die Installation wird während ihrer gesamten Laufzeit durch Performances und Interventionen aktiviert.

„Cracks in Landscapes” ist ein modulares, performatives Poem, welches sich mit jeder Aufführung neu figuriert und bisher in Zagreb 2025 und Genf 2026 aufgeführt wurde.

Claudia Bosse entwirft entlang verschiedener Texte, Bewegungen und Materialien gemeinsam mit dem Publikum Verhältnisse und Abgründe in Landschaften. Zwischen mythischen Figuren, schmutzigen Händen und eigener Biographie entfaltet diese Performance mit Erde, Ton, Salz und den live Klängen von Günther Auer eine poetische Spekulation über unsere Zeug:innenschaft und die Zukunft unseres Planeten.

Performance „Cracks in Landscapes”

A poetic speculation with movement, text, materials like earth, metal and latex, by/with Claudia Bosse and Live-Sounds by Günther Auer

With the installation ‘Evocation of Absent Landscapes’, Claudia Bosse continues her ‘haunted landscape/s’ project with theatercombinat at DAS WEISSE HAUS. The space is transformed into a sensory environment featuring video works and materials such as salt, mud, hair and wool.

Bosse opens up a ‘third space’ where human and non-human perspectives on landscape intersect. Visitors are invited to experience fractured, living and hybrid ecologies.

The installation will be activated throughout its duration through performances and interventions.

“Cracks in Landscapes” is a modular performative poem, re-assembled for each performance and taking on a new form every time. Previous iterations were presented in Zagreb in 2025 and Geneva in 2026.

Together with the audience, Claudia Bosse maps out relationships and abysses within landscapes through texts, movements and materials. Between mythical figures, earth-stained hands, and personal biography, this performance unfolds a poetic speculation on our role as witnesses and the future of our planet through earth, clay, salt, and the live sounds of Günther Auer.
